Martes de Futbol
Every Tuesday, SEC invites you to the exciting “Martes de Futbol”: our students are more than welcome to take part in the weekly soccer games, joining the “outsiders” team, and play against the Vallartenses* in the 2x 20 minutes soccer games at “Le Fut” soccer fields, while the girls improve the power of their lungs as they cheers for the athletes in action.
Afterwards we all go for a refreshing beer at the Caipirinha restaurant and get the party started…. !

Noche de Guateque*
Every Wednesday, we take you on a discovery of Vallarta nightlife! Between clubs, restaurants, Irish pubs, cozy cafés, art galleries, Vallarta has a lot to offer and SEC serves it to you on a silver plate!
*"Guateque", literally a party with food, drinks and dance organized at one's house, is just another great excuse to meet great people, make great friends, discover great places in a chill out atmosphere that will allow you to put your Spanish in practice in laid back day-to-day situations!

Mexican Cooking Class
Do you like Mexican Food? Every Thursday learn Spanish in Puerto Vallarta and a new recipe of traditional Mexican food! Our in-house Chef Saraí Ramirez teaches you the secrets of the most delicious Mexican dishes.
From basics like tacos and guacamole to more undiscovered and mysterious specialties, with indigenous names like quesadillas de huitlacoche, huazontles, acoziles...
You will discover how varied and tasty Mexican food is: so good that it has been listed as intangible world heritage by the UNESCO in 2010!
Your Spanish school in Mexico gives you the opportunity to learn Spanish in Puerto Vallarta by diving into Mexican culture through the most delightful of all senses: taste.

Let’s start enjoy Spring with another classic this week: discover the delicious and so easy to make “Chiles Rellenos de Queso” (Pepper stuffed with cheese). The peppers used are called “chiles poblanos” (poblano literally meaning"from Puebla")
At SEC we teach you how to cook Mexican food from all over the country! Not only will you discover local traditions but you will also be able to take culinary journeys to the other states of the Republic.
