Getting to Puerto Vallarta
From the Airport
Puerto Vallarta
Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport is located just north of "el Centro" (downtown). The airport is served by 12 major airlines and is well connected to North America’s major airports. With numerous daily flights, getting to your Spanish school in Puerto Vallarta from anywhere in the world is easy.

Getting to your Mexico School
Taxi
The airport is only located 15 minutes driving from downtown. The easiest and most convenient way to go and come back to/from the airport is by taxi.
During the day, you may prepay your ride to the "Centro" at a small kiosk located just inside the terminal building exit of the airport. Once you have obtained your ticket, the driver will escort you to the taxi and you will safely be on the way. You should expect to pay approximately 18 USD (the fare is based on the number of zones your drive through).
The official transportation companies leaving the airport (which is a Federal property) are more expensive than regular taxi service. If you are looking for a cheaper fare, you may want to consider walking a few meters and cross the bridge over the main highway in order to flag down a city cab, or stay on the side of the airport (do not cross the bridge) and take a bus (approx. 0.50 cts).
Organized transportation upon arrival
If you would prefer a private transportation and make your study abroad experience even more convenient, our mexico school can organize your pick-up from the airport to your accommodation. We require a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to arrival for this service. For your convenience, thank you in advance for sending us your complete flight details (flight nr, arrival date, arrival time and "coming from" airport) as early as possible. The cost for this service is 33 USD (one way).
